Country Club Membership

During your membership hours you will be entitled to full use of our facilities detailed below:

HEALTH AND WELLBEING

Fitness

Within the Fitness area we have a fully air conditioned gym and two exercise studios.  In addition a dedicated Exercise Pool hosts classes and provides for independent use.  The gym is fully equipped with free and fixed weight machinery, cardiovascular equipment and stretch trainers. There is a wide range of classes on offer which are inclusive to your membership, choose from:

• Aqua based classes in Exercise Pool
• Mind body type classes
• Dance themed workouts
• Body conditioning
• Aerobic classes

Our Fitness Team offer a range of extra services, so should you require personal tuition to structure your workouts please call the Gym between 9.00am and 7.00pm any day of the week for further details.

We strongly recommend that only regular Gym users work out at times when there is not a Fitness Instructor present. Moreover, if you are unfamiliar with our particular equipment you are advised to request an induction during supervised hours.

The Spa

25 metre swimming pool with cascade and massage jets for the lower back, shoulders and feet.
Exercise pool including Aquagym equipment with full programme of water classes. Whirlpool spa, mixed sex steam room and sanarium.

Health

We offer Cholesterol Tests, Body Composition Tests, Healthy Eating and Vitamin advice, we also offer the Menopause Awareness package. For more information or to arrange an appointment please speak to a Treatments Co-ordinator who will be delighted to assist you.

Changing Facilities

During your visit you may have access to a locker either in the Spa area or near the Gym. Each area has showers, W.C’s and hairdryers, also towels are available for use.

Treatments

The Treatment Department operates from 9.00am until 7.30pm and offers a wide range of treatments, from holistic therapies to massages and facials. In addition we have a range of exclusive treatments available only at Ragdale Hall – there is something to suit everyone. Treatments must be pre-booked at least 14 days in advance and secured with a credit card but then must be pre-paid at Reception on arrival to the Hall. Certain alternative therapies are subject to availability. Please contact the Treatments and Activities office on 01664 433043 for advice, offers and availability.

Hair Studio

The Hair Studio team are available to provide all of your styling needs, from the latest cutting and styling techniques to colouring and highlights. Complimentary consultations are available to discuss all aspects of your hair care regime. Also, all new members receive a complimentary cut and blow dry. We use the Phytologie product range and have regular offers and promotions taking place.

Dining Room

The Dining Room has on offer a fantastic range of dishes and wine for you to choose from. You are welcome to be accompanied by up to 2 guests. Please contact the Dining Room to check for availability prior to your visit.

Verandah Bar

Serving fresh juices, teas, coffees, smoothies, cakes and snacks made to order throughout the day.

Serves fresh juices, teas and coffees and a selection of healthy nibbles.

A light dinner menu is also available from 6.00pm.

RETAIL THERAPY

Beauty Shop

The Beauty Shop offers products from international skincare companies such as Clarins, Elemis, Decleor, SpaFind, Leighton Denny, Dior and Li'Tya. The staff in the Beauty Shop are all qualified therapists and are available to advise you on skincare and make-up. Each product house has regular promotions at Ragdale, which you are entitled to take advantage of.

Within the Gift Shop there is a fantastic selection of gifts for all occasions.

Boutique

Adjacent to the Garden room, the Boutique sells clothing, accessories, jewellery, music and essential toiletries. Also look out for details of promotions and workshops.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Guests

As a member it is possible to occasionally bring a guest (maximum of two) with you during your membership hours for a small facility charge, currently £35 for Evening members and £40 for Full members. Please contact Main Reception in advance to check availability as we allow a maximum of six member's guests per day.

Staying overnight

In addition we also offer an exclusive Country Club Overnight Break available at short notice. You may stay for one night for £90.00 in a single room or £75.00 per member sharing a twin room with dinner, breakfast and lunch included. Bookings can only be made seven days prior to arrival and are subject to availability. (Please note this offer only applies to Country Club members – please contact Reservations 01664 433000 for more details).

We will keep you up to date with all the latest Ragdale and Country Club news via regular newsletters, the Country Club members section on our website, social and informative events and themed weeks throughout the year.

How to Join

Please contact Paul McGregor, Country Club Manager on 01664 433001 who will be delighted to discuss all aspects and availability of membership.

If you become a member, please also contact Gemma Stephens, Country Club Treatments Administrator on 01664 433043 for advice on treatments and contra-indications if you have any health issues.

You may also spend an hour with a Fitness Instructor to familiarize yourself with the layout of the gym and how to use each piece of equipment. You will receive, if required, an exercise programme at the end of the session.

You will receive a voucher for two people to have lunch or dinner in the Dining Room and a voucher entitling you to a complimentary cut and blow dry in the Hair Studio.

Should you wish to join, please contact us on the number or email address below. The subscription and joining fee are payable together by cheque, cash, credit card or debit card. The subsequent renewal payment will be due on the first day of the renewal month – a reminder will be sent prior to the due date.

Joint membership can only be accepted on the basis that both members reside at the same address or are immediate family members.

Please note all fees/subscriptions are non-refundable.

Membership is subject to the conditions of membership.

Conditions of membership

• On entering the Hall, Members must sign in. On leaving the Hall, Members must also sign out.
• Your valid membership card must be carried at all times and produced for all purchases and when required by staff members, otherwise entry or discounts will be refused.
• Renewals are due on or before the first day of the joining month.  A surcharge will be levied for any late payments.
• The conditions of joint membership are; direct family or cohabiting at the same address, evidence of which will be required.
• We reserve the right to refuse membership applications or renewals or to suspend/terminate membership without notice or reason.
• It is the responsibility of the Member to inform Ragdale Hall of any changes to include change of name, address or change in health status.
• Members may use the facilities betweeen the agreed hours of membership.  However, Ragdale Hall reserves the right to withdraw access when special booking promotions occur or maintenance closure is a necessity.  Members will be notified as soon as is reasonably practical.
• Members may pre-book yp to 3 guests to visit Ragdale Hall at an additional charge.  You must accompany your guests at all times and only during you membership hours.  Guests are not entitled to discounts.
• Treatments must be booked 14 days in advance with the Treatments and Activities Department and secured with a credit card.  Treatments must then be pre-paid at Main Reception prior to the treatment taking place.  A 50% charge will be made for treatments cancelled with less than 12 hours notice.
• All goods must be either pre-paid or paid for at the time of purchase.  Any food or drinks consumed at Ragdale Hall must be paid for in full prior to your departure.  Credit cards are not accepted for paymeny of purchases under £5.00.
• Members may join exercise classes provided the maximum of limited participants is not exceeded.  In the event of over subscription, residential guests will take proirity over Members.
• There may be occasions when advertised promotions or offers are not available.  In these circumstances Ragdale Hall reserves the right to vary, cancel or offer amendments without prior notice.
• Ragdale Hall does not offer credit facilities.  An administration charge will be levied for any account not settled on departure.
• We would request you do not bring valuables into the Hall.  Ragdale Hall will accept no liability in the loss or damage of personal property, which should be covered by your own insurance.
• Please park in the main carpark and be aware that vehicles are left at your own risk.  Ragdale Hall will accept no liability for damage to vehicles whilst parked in the gorunds.  Please do not park in the disabled bays unless permitted to do so.  No parking is allowed at the front of the Hall.
• Members are requested not to:
  Bring any food or drink, or illegal or dangerous substances in to the Hall or grounds.
  Attempt to sell or supply services/products to other Members, staff or guests.
  Bring into the Hall or grounds children under the age of 16 or any pets.
  Use mobile phones or laptop computers.
  Smoke anywhere other than the Smokers Gazebo in our grounds
• Compliance with conditions of membership and observing the peaceful atmosphere at the Hall is paramount.
• The gymnasium and swimming pools are supervised throughout most of the day.  Members are recommended to seek asssistance during these periods, if required, and adivsed not to use the facilities at unsupervised times unless fully conversant with and confident to use such in a safe manner.
• Ragdale Hall reserves the right to make temporary and/or permenant changes to the range of services and facilities at any time, without seeking members consent.
